Crime Of The Month
On July 25, 2008 at approximately 2:31am, Jonathan Andre Vinson was struck and killed by an unknown vehicle at the 8000 block of Nations Ford Rd. in Charlotte, NC. A private reward of up to $5,000 has been established for information leading to an arrest.
Kyle Fleischmann was last seen leaving the Buckhead Saloon at the corner of 5th St. and College St. at 02:20 AM on November 9, 2007. Kyle was wearing a dark colored shirt and blue jeans. The cell phone activity on Kyle’s phone is in the uptown area until around 03:30 AM. A private reward of up to $50,000 has been established for information leading to the whereabouts of this missing person.

Crimes Solved By Tips

In December 2006 a caller provided information that led to the arrest and recovery of property from a Wachovia Bank robbery.

A July 2006 call to Crime Stoppers led to the arrest of a breaking and entering suspect who targeted the Plaza-Midwood neighborhood. This call also led to the recovery of $2,600.00 in stolen guitars.

Information was received by Crime Stoppers in March 2006 that led to three arrests in the home invasion / murder of Benny Whitfield on Glenrock Drive. Keon Thomas, Jamon Black, and Marcus Logan were all arrested and charged with murder.
